Nackara: God Chosen

Nackara returns home soaking wet after a day working in the fields only to be sent by her mother to look for her youngest sister, who had gone to pick flowers. Her search takes her over hills, through fields turned for spring planting, and into the woods until finally Nackara sees two thugs standing over the limp form of a young girl whose blood is pooling with the rain to flow into the streamlet nearby. It is her sister, dead. Heart tearing from her chest, Nackara screams, feeling a burning rage of fire move through her body and strike out at the assailants. She attacks for her sister, for the pain she feels, for the guilt of not being there in time. The two men drop lances of dark power searing their bodies to smoldering hunks of flesh.

The ripples of this unleased fury are felt far beyond the creek where her sister died. This is the beginning of the serch for her destiny. Nackara's journey takes her into a world far more vast and far more complicated than the daughter of a horse farmer could have imagined. Nackara is thrust into a world of gods and goddesses; priests, priestesses, and acolytes; power; loyalty and betrayal, and a future filled with nothing but the unknown. Teachers and guides try their best to help, but will they be able to? Do they even know what power Nackara holds? Follow the adventures of a young teen finding a world new and unknown. What is her fate? Is she chosen for Greatness? Or will she fail and return back to the farm to live a life of ignominy?
