Never Unpack is the story of a teenage girl determined to create a family life that only lives in her mind. Her Mom moves from job to job and man to man, regularly farming the kids out to relatives, friends, and eventually foster homes. Amy desperately wants her Mom's love and attention, as well as a life in their imaginary house with yellow curtains and a white picket fence. This is a story of one girl's attempt to understand the meaning of love, who she can trust, and who she cannot.
